What's On

This October Act-Belong-Commit presents:

Supported by the City of Albany

An Aerial, fire and theatre event for all the family

Pack a picnic and a blanket and head to Eyre Park on Saturday 17th October at 7pm to celebrate the return of live performance and in the City of Albany.

Elemental is a multi-art performance that includes aerial arts, theatre and fire spinning.

Created by young performers at Southern Edge Arts, Elemental follows the antics of a group of teenagers living on Mars, who fly to Earth to find a world where the Elements are in disharmony.

With the help of Sir Lawrence, The Critic and the Stage Manager, the young Martians learn about the fight between water and fire, the essential flow of water and how life can grow when water and Earth mix together.

Trapeze artists present their interpretation of each of the four elements in a skilful display of Aerial Arts.  Fire performers will dazzle you with their fire sticks and spinning.  Actors will keep you laughing with their antics as they try to bring the elements back into harmony.

Supported by the City of Albany, and presented by Act Belong Commit, this free community performance is the first show of the year for Southern Edge Arts in 2020.
