The Creation of Now - 2025

The Creation of Now 2025 - This October at Southern Edge Arts

In 2015, the town of Kworabup Denmark authored The Creation of Now, a multi-layered contemporary performance that creates a new world of imagination and mythology.  Ten years on, Southern Edge Arts will create a new version that speaks to our sense of ‘now’ in the Great Southern.

Artistic Director, Annette Carmichael will lead a team of artists, young people and community members to recreate the world of Omo, an ancient child who seeks to find Now. A large intergenerational cast aged from 3 months - 70+ will wrap around this child on their final quest.

There are a number of ways to get involved from creating wearable art to circus, acting, movement, roller skating, violin and visual design.
