Workshops
Southern Edge Arts 2010 Workshop Program is bigger and better than ever! Participants (aged between 5 - 25 years) can choose from our core workshops of drama, dance or circus, or experiment with one of our new classes including puppetry, physical theater, clowning and comedy, or join the first ever SEA Choir!
Workshop participants are invited to participate in SEA's 2010 performance projects and all workshops culminate in an End of Year Showcase for family and friends!

LITTLE ACTORS CLUB (suits ages 5 - 7)
Wednesday 4pm-5pm | $65 | Lead tutor: Simon Clarke
An introduction to all things performing arts including storytelling, movement, improvisation and character-making. A fun class for little actors!

Ensemble - Advanced (suits ages 14 +) | Wednesday 5pm-7pm
The ABC of Acting! These workshops will take you through everything you ever wanted or needed to know about theatre, from theatre games, improvisation, and stagecraft to vocal technique, physical awareness and performance making!

These workshops challenge participants to move, think and act in new, unconventional and exciting ways, including aerial circus, acrobatics, stage combat, balances, body awareness and dance.

Energetic dance workshops that take participants through contemporary and classical dance techniques, choreography, improvisation, and movement dynamics. Students will gain strength, flexibility, fitness, posture and confidence as well as having loads of fun!

Ever wanted to run away and join the circus? At SEA anything is possible! Starting with safety and basic gymnastics, you will develop a variety of circus skills including acrobatics, adagio, aerial apparatus, juggling, uni-cycling, poi and fire-twirling. Workshops are structured to accommodate beginners of all ages, as well as intermediary and advanced classes for the more experienced. Members may also be invited to join CircaSEA - Southern Edge Arts Circus Performance Troupe, who regularly perform throughout the year!
